Agents do all the talking till it's time to shake hands & sign the contract. Head coaches do not fly out of town to meet an A.D. in the A.D.'s home town. If there is to be an interview, the A.D. flies to a neutral site to avoid any risk of the meeting being seen by any one local.

On a serious note: He's recruiting... using evaluation days (42 allowed). As HS football season is winding down now is the time to evaluate those mid-level star players. Early in the week before they go to shoulder pads only or helmets-shorts is the best part of the week to do that.
