I don't believe this at all....Saban isn't going anywhere. Riley is starting to sound like it maybe true.
My top choice would be Rhule. This could be possible now that we see Franklin is staying a PSU. I think Rhule has been thinking about PSU and LSU.

I’m with you on this. I think Rhule fits all of the parameters, would be the easiest to “smokescreen” for, is the most realistic pull, and would end up being the best choice.

If it’s a smokescreen, it would be from Riley’s agent to get him paid.
A Riley to LSU smokescreen would not come from Woody for the simple fact that Riley would be the candidate that pretty much everyone with a rooting interest in LSU would agree on and be excited about. Why would you put out a smokescreen about a pie in the sky hire only to have the entire state and fan base be monumentally disappointed in whoever the real hire is? It would make Woody look like he whiffed and had to settle. Why would he choose to do that to his own image?
