Woody is very good at spending other people’s money. If the boosters are cool with it , let’s roll.

nobody is as involved because the AD knows what he is doing and is not promoting a controversial hire

In Woodward’s defense. A&M BOS told him to get Jimbo at whatever price he wanted and that’s what he did

Not my money, but an elite coach will make LSU plenty so why do people care?

Burrow threw more TDs against Riley in 1st half of Playoff game than Riley had NFL job targets.

That's a horrible comparison. Why do we care how many NFL jobs someone was offered?

12 mil a year just for Riley and another 5-6 a year for a killer DC and staff. So close to 20 million a year for football staff? That's a pipe dream.

People went crazy when Emmert paid Nick 1.2 mill a year.
now that is chump change.9-10 a year now will be chump
change 5 years from now.Everything is relative. We`re talking
about 150MM DOLLAR A YEAR BUSINESS.Get a great coach in here and it pays for itself the 1 st year.

You do what's necessary to get the best coach available. No coach is a sure thing, but Riley is as close as it gets. Once Saban retires, there's a damn good chance Riley is the best coach in college football at 40 years old. That's a worthwhile investment.

People keep bringing up his record in the playoffs, but I'd give just about anything to have the team where we're disappointed by "just" making the playoff every year.
