The only thing Greg Schiano was guilty of at the time of the Tennessee debacle was not being Jon Gruden. They used the pedo enabler bullshite as an excuse to protest the hire because the poor bastards actually thought they had a chance at bringing Gruden to Knoxville.

Did you guys see the OSU defense last year? It was horrible with arguably more talent than NE currently has in it's defense. He's overrated and always has been. People just like him. Huge difference.

His resume is pretty meh as far as being a defensive coordinator
Hard to imagine Belicheck handing him the DC reigns when he has zero on field coaching experience in the NFL, including this season where he spent as a consultant and no a position coach. Especially with this leak, if it came from him, which is not something BB would appreciate getting out even if it was the plan
