Ahhh, you’re right, good catch. Thanks

Interesting to see all of the confidence in Woodward considering how poorly he has overseen the hires in the football program thus far.

Shut the F up. Those hires were 100% Orgeron's doing.

I would be much more alarmed if the Athletic Director was meddling in the head coach hiring assistants

I just can’t believe Woodward even risked this hire considering what is at stake. Football is the driving force in college sports. If football fails the other programs will financially suffer. We can make good hires in these other programs and survive but not football and certainly not LSU football.

Using a business mindset I expect Woodward used Tennessee and Texas as case studies. If these programs would have positioned their hires better they would have avoided the skids. Florida is also another to use as a basis to make a top notch hire.

I believe Woodward is excellent at putting together a long term business plan for success. We are not just hiring a coach. We are executing a plan. The next coach doesn’t have to be a 10 year tenure but he has to be solid, top tier hire. His job isn’t just to win but to position LSU football for future success.

Therefore, it is only logical that the new coach was hired before O was fired. The risk was eliminated before there was opportunity for failure.

After Woodward the great signed off on the complete overpaying of Bo he said he was going to be involved in football hires from that point on.

How’s that working out?

If you place your faith in Woodward I wish you luck.

Woody fired Orgeron. He’s about to hire an elite coach. Woody gave Orgeron the freedom to show his incompetence.

Facts.
