Ironically Les Miles may have aligned himself with the "Lloyds" in order to get Rodriguez out.

That guy was a sports radio host in Detroit for about 10 years. He moved around a bit to Philly and Texas, I think, and runs a coffee shop now. I don't buy the part about Les orchestrating anything, but I fully believe Lloyd helped spike the Les hiring three years ago (though it could never had gone through once LSU made the MNC game, anyway).

Why is Lloyd afforded so much control at Michigan?

Do you think the new AD will tell him to buzz off?

This is a legit question. He did nothing special when he was there.

Lloyd Carr is a bitter old POS. If Michigan had been required to play Nebraska in 1997 to decide a true MNC, they would have gotten bitch-slapped all the way back to Ann Arbor.

Well, Miles did that here and many do not think he has done anything special, either

try again..but still...is it good to have old balls still milling around your athletic department? must be a pain in the arse for the AD.

IOn retrospect, maybe so. Looks fantastic compared to the new felle who replaced him.

according to that "article" the AD told him not to come around anymore. They gave him an office to come in to if he wanted. Apparently, that has been rescinded.

Wow! This guy is quite the conspiracy theorist! If any of this is true, it's pretty messed up. I really have a hard time imagining Miles being involved in Rich Rod's firing.

in 6 months, he destroyed the only sports talk radio station in Austin. He's a legend here.

He ran off everyone that was popular, changed the entire tone of all the shows, hosted his own, ran thru countless co-hosts till they ultimately fired him less than a year after he started. He left some parting shots to the station and the people of Austin before he finally left town. I think he had a kids jump/inflatable castle rental place at one time

that station - 1300am has never recovered since and if it wasnt the flagship station of the Longhorn Network, would probabaly be out of business by now

Chicken, it seems that the AD has told him to f'off, but the university president really likes Carr. so that is where his influence is, with the president, which happens to be female..... hhhmmm....
