Hi Random, can you restate what you know of the OC situation for those who missed it?

Why do think his threads have been getting whacked?

First of all ONE thread got whacked and it was because I used Up and down votes as a polling mechanism. Everything I've said is exactly what I've been told. It's sad that Butthurt fans that wanted someone sexier than O as their coach get behind the keyboard and bash someone who's simply trying to add to the forum with the information provided to them

This true?

As he said when Cam got hired:
quote:

Im not going to say I have "inside info" because that would be wrong and Ive been banned 3 times already for posting "rumors" even tho all 3 happened within a week or 2 of me saying it. So this is just my "opinion" of who I think wil be the next OC at LSU if he doesn't go to the Jets. Just saying what I "think"
He posts opinions. That should be obvious at this point.

Hey, you deserve a pat on the back for the Cam hiring, but that whole 80% line was just flat-out misinformation. At no point was Jimbo ever more than 50-50.

My opinion is a simple one that's what I've been told. Houston is interested in the Kiffin but they don't want it to be a steppingstone job for him they want someone that's going to be there for a little while.

So my "opinion" if Houston can't get past the Belief that Kiffin will use it as a steppingstone then he will become the next offense of Cordinator at LSU.

That seems pretty simple for Houston; they need to get Kiffin to agree to a multi-million buyout. If he refuses, then they know he's just interested in a short term deal.

Where are you getting "near $100 million on Jimbo"? Alleva offered him $6.8 million for 5 years, which would've put him basically even with Saban and made him the third highest paid coach in the country. Sexton countered wanting 10 years and Alleva walked.

I meant if you if you do the 10 year deal, there's 68 mil. Throw in another 5 for his buyout. 73 mil. Paying out whatever else we got to probably pushes up near 80.

quote:

When LSU hired Saban, Mark Emmert said to pay him what he wants, and look what it did for the program and the school.

I've seen so many people post this and I honestly don't think its true. One guy said, "Saban demanded 1.3 mil." First of all, Saban wasn't really a commodity when we hired him. Secondly, Saban didn't make a mil a year until we won the title, because had a provision in his contract that stated he would become the highest paid HC in college football if that happened. He beat Stoops, who was, at that time, the highest paid, making around 1.0 mil flat.

Stop going to business class, because you're not going to make it.

You obviously don't understand the logic behind extraordinary claims vs ordinary claims and the evidence required to support them nor the odds involved in predicting a claim. I will explain this, but I don't expect you to understand it.

You say aliens are coming to destroy humanity but only a few UFOs crash. The root of this claim is "Aliens are coming" - which is an extraordinary claim. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. This also means that the more extraordinary the claim, the lower the chances are of guessing or predicting the claim will come true.

Days before it was officially reported, Random told us we had a verbal agreement with Tom Herman. He said it seemed to be a done deal (as it probably also seemed to Alleva). This is an extraordinary claim in which he was correct. His "sources" were 100% correct. Saturday morning, Alleva received a call from Herman at 5am pulling out of the deal. At 5:30am, Alleva called O. This means Random had less than 30 minutes to report "Herman has backed out" to tigerdroppings. This is where you people are IDIOTS. If Random would've posted on here at 5:15am (which very few of you were awake, I wasn't either) saying Herman has backed out, you people would think he is a source God. Instead, you let a 30 minute A.M. window completely destroy his rep because you think he was full of shite the whole time and leading your precious little egos on. Get over yourselves!

If you don't want credit for at least saying aliens are coming, then fine, I won't give you credit.

Anytime anyone on here says "done deal", we all(intelligent people) know that means "not signed but is a verbal or written agreement", ELSE the person will say "signed" instead of "done deal". It's esoteric and colloquial lingo. We all know now that Herman was a "done deal" and Random/DALSU was right.

If Random got on here at 5:15am and said "Herman called Alleva and has backed out of the deal", then later it's reported "Tom Herman has called Alleva and backed out of a verbal agreement.. after taking a massive shite at 5am this morning", you babies would be pissed off and whining because Random didn't mention Herman taking a dump. Pathetic.

Lol i already graduated dude.

If you 100% believe anything anyone says on here as fact then don't count yourself in the intelligent crowd.

If i go to my boss and tell him i have closed a $100 million fund and it's a done deal he's gonna ask to see the paperwork and investor consent forms signed. He couldn't give less of a shite about an LOU or LOI (Letter of Understanding or intent). When i tell him it's a done deal then the fund is closed. Investors, like coaches, csn get cold feet or back out before the fund is closed/deal is done. Seriously Herman may have had an LOI OR LOU with LSU, but he didn't back out of any signed contract.

Please tell me where you heard this because that's not the story i have seen reported. ALLEVA pulled the offer. Herman didn't just back out. Also Random never said it seemed to be a done deal. He actually started a thread that said "We got a Homerun Hire." Then said he wanted to tell us sooner. Obviously we didn't get that hire.

Regardless of whether or not he has sources, he was wrong. frick all of this ordinary vs extraordinary bullshite. When you say we GOT a homerun hire that means it is DONE. It obviously was not.

quote:

Link? All reports i read is that alleva pulled his offer friday night. Not at 5 am Saturday morning. That's pretty specific time windows you have. Would like to see the proof of it.

Just to clarify, since you think i am an idiot. Done Deal

quote:

done deal
noun
Definition of done deal for English Language Learners
: something that has been done and that cannot be changed

So again you don't make the homerun hire or done deal post until the ink is dry. I would love to here you tell someone in the business world a multi million dollar negotiation is a done deal to your boss and then you don't deliver on it. I bet you last 1 day tops.

Just don't tell us we got a "Homerun Hire" when the ink hasn't even touched the paper. That's why people are giving you shite. I didn't want O, but that's not on you or your decision.

If you think people are upset with you for the fact we got O instead of Herman you don't understand. Lesson here is don't make the "done deal" thread unless you have seen the name signed on the contract. Your "source" got you excited, you posted because you were excited, and then things changed. Probelm is you stated it as fact aka hire was made. So, yes, people will give you shite for it as they would any other poster who did this. Hell if my friends and family tell me something is a fact or done deal and they are wrong i give them shite for it too. That's life dude.

I had fun reading your threads and you made the board interesting for sure. I just have zero reason to believe you or your sources from here on out. So if you don't want people frickin with you because you fricked up on your post then just don't post your "insider info".

I'll still read it for entertainment though...and probably give you shite.
