Steele and Les "mutually" parted ways after a year. I don't think there was a buyout of any sort though.
And Canada's offense was better than Steeles defense. However, neither were "bad."

I like to think Steele knew he was potentially about to be out of a job with Miles on his way out and took advantage of another job opportunity.

Alright man. I knew all of that. What we were also hearing is that the buyout was really low and it was essentially a three year deal. That might have been just a bunch of rant sources. Nobody knew how awful the buyout was until March, when the exact details were released.
