Why worry... because if you're an OM fan you have nothing to worry about. Lane is and will the HC of OM for probably the next 3-5yrs.

What big time job is better than Florida and LSU?

It doesn't matter if they are definitively better. Its about the money.

Texas, Bama, UGA, Tenessee (maybe he burned this bridge lol), A&M, Michigan, OSU, Miami, FSU, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, Aiuburn, the entire NFL, etc.

It doesn't matter what job he has, he will use other jobs as leverage to squeeze the most amount of money he possibly can out the situation. And he will do it mid season during the most important stretch of the regular season. If the highest bidder ends up being the school he is at, cool. If the highest bidder is another school, cool. Doesn't matter to him. Even if he ends up back at OM, he will be in the convo and bidding war for whatever jobs open up next year.

It doesn't seem that way with me but then again, we are getting to the point where we are simply tired of dealing with a 50 year old man that has the decision making ability of a 14 year old girl.

Its calculated. He is in it for the money and if he wins a championship along the way, cool.

Not sure how many LSU fans actually believe that Lane is coming... but this guy, now way until they have the intro press conference.

If this board is the thing supporting your mental health, that's on you.

Can't move on when there are very real possibilities at hand

The most Ole Miss thing ever said. Yall aren't built for this. We know it, Lane knows it, and now you learned it from experience.

Come on man at the end of the day its football. A game and while we obsess over it, it shouldn't determine your happiness. Just enjoy the ride and entertainment. Its like Saturday all throughout the week with drama. It sucks if yall lose him but it wont end ole miss. Also if yall do lose him then you get to join the mess that is the cc board lol

There's been tons of comments including Lanes own about what hes looking for in a job. Very few schools meet that criteria. I just don't see a world where he goes to Florida or LSU and becomes a talking point in a coaching search at Auburn, Tennessee, FSU, or Oklahoma. I could buy some of the others but I think Lane is likely at Florida or LSU if he moves for more than 6 years

OM is getting screwed here with so many high profile jobs open right now.

UF
LSU
VaTech (now closed)
Pedo State

Couldn't have happened at a worse time for OM. Great for Kiffin, but crappy for their fans.......but we've been there.
