Question, has a flight tracking thread actually correlated with a hire that we ended up making?

Supposedly (i got this from a comment on another board) there was an episode of the Split Zone Duo podcast earlier this year where Steven Godfrey said that fans are correct in following flights but they do it wrong. He said that you should look for private jets flying from each location and arriving around the same time in major hubs. Of course Atlanta is the biggest one. He said representatives of the school and coach do not hold these meetings in their respective towns. They fly into a hub and have a conference room there or a hangar or go and meet in a hotel, hash things out, hop back on the planes and go home.

I thought he was going skirt past Norman to the south but he turned north headed straight to Norman.

I'm am supposed to be working, yet my dumb arse is sitting at a red light with 100 feet of cars in front of me waiting- but I'm stuck tracking this flight- only to come to my senses that I should be driving through the now green light instead of dicking see where this jet is headed.

Needless to say, he's landed in Norman.

Coaches, ADs, and agents absolutely do not meet in their respective college towns. That would be such a terrible idea and just opening themselves up for a major leak, considering everyone has a camera in their pocket these days.

Really need to be watching flights out of Norman and BR happening at about the same time, headed to the same destination and landing around the same time.

Plus these days there's a lot of this stuff that happens over Zoom and phone calls. The coach, agents, and AD may only meet once in person before being announced.

The realtor sent a plane for Mrs. Riley. They are not as savvy as SW.
