Predict the date LSU will have their coach in pocket.

Not saying when it's officially announced but when the deal is actually done. You would think LSU would want the coach in place as soon as the regular season ends. This will make it difficult to announce any current coach prior to bowls being played. But a long wait going into 2nd week of January would kill recruiting big time.
Anyone think woody nails his man down by Thanksgiving even if it isn't announced until after bowls?

I dont have any sauces but a friend of mine who claims to have sauces said he is hearing that we will have our guy with in 3 weeks.

I think unless the new coach is in the playoffs that they announce it after the last game and they don't coach the bowl.

There's precedent to hiring coaches after the regular season but before the bowls.

If they go into December without a name it is because they think they can get Fickell.
Fickell isn't leaving (or even discussing LSU) as long as he is playoff bound.
If Cincinnati is in Playoff and LSU hasn't announced by late December then it bodes well with landing Fickell.

People have to understand how Woodward works. Yesterday didn't happen without a plan. He's probably been working on this since the "sissy blue" comment.
