He's done a nice job this year but not enough go from coordinator to hc. If the offense takes the next step with Brennan in 2018 I could see it.

If Canada gets a HC offer he’s gone

If he didn't get one after last year then I'm not sure he is looking for a head coaching job.

I find it really hard to believe anyone is going to match close to what he's making at lsu. He could always walk but I have a hard time seeing it.

I always love this mentality. Like his only other option would be $35,000 or something he’d still get 7 figures

yep, absolutely

you think that issue is now completely resolved?

How many other schools (a) have deep pockets & (b) looking for a new OC? More than a few

never go full retard, dude the AD called all of them in and basically told Oregeron to stay out of the coordinators way.. Oregeron is Aranda's and Canada's bitch.

the list of schools paying 7 figures for a coordinator is a lot shorter than you think it is.

Canada must be a colossal a-hole.

He clashed with Bert at Wisconsin, reportedly clashed with Narduzzi at Pitt and now Orgeron at LSU. He’s been a common denominator.

I've heard the reports with Bert, and that Doeren and Canada were at odds. Narduzzi is news to me. How much of an a-hole can you be

He is gone only if he is fired. I can can't see him getting paid anywhere else like he is getting paid here.

looks like Canada may be gone and Austin Thomas maybe to TN?

let's wait and see on Robinson and Joseph...I think we can do better than those 2, tbh.

TE Coach: Steve Ensminger - retained, but retirement lurking

If we make a "radical" move and do a complete overhaul on offense (staff wise) - I can see Ensminger quietly moving to a consulting spot for continuity, if that's necessary for the new guy to build his staff his way.

And it will be somewhat bittersweet for me when Ensminger finally retires. At my first live LSU football game, I looked down at the field with my dad and watched the QBs warm up. One of them was Steve Ensminger. At the last several games I've attended, I've looked down at the field and watched the QBs warm up WITH Steve Ensminger.

Good times. Will be the end of an era for me - literally.
