I gotta give u credit for real. The odds may be stacked against you but you will try and find that finch-level glimmer of hope. 16 yrs of irrelevance will do that. Lead you to grasp at things even when you know you are going to be let down hard. Keep posting here. It’s entertaining af and despite you and finch being kinda sad, we love having yall here!

Egg Bowl will happen. Lane flies back to Oxford and then hauls arse over to Tupelo to watch Knox play in the title game and a report comes out that there will be a press conference at Ole Miss on Saturday morning.
Ole Miss will announce that Lane has informed them he will not be the head coach at Ole Miss. Lane will not be at the press conference.
Everyone will freakout.

I don’t think it will be clearer after this weekend. If Texas and Alabama enter the conversation, Lane will wait to see what they would offer him. If Sark is fired and DeBoer leaves for Penn State, LSU maybe in a worse position.

Kiffen wants to be at Lsu!! They're the only school who has there state on lock when it comes to recruiting, His first recruiting class he will have the best skilled players he's ever had in a class. With the skill players he can get for his offense 75 miles just around Baton Rouge, he licking his chops to coach at Lsu!!! He knows get a typical Lsu defense to go with his offense and the talent of Lsu skill players he'll be in NC talk every year

He’s not leaving ole miss. He knows ditching a playoff team will make him a public pariah. He doesn’t have the guts to do it.
