Who was Tom Landry's DC when the Dallas Cowboys were awesome?

Monte Kiffin or Dick LeBeau would fit the profile.

Reeves would be my pick. He has been solid for a while and he’s be easy to get over here. Plus he has a southern base for recruiting.

People always mention Leonhard, but he isn't gonna leave his alma mater for another DC job.

I wonder if Orgeron would still demand a 4-3 from the next hire

LSU is not going to get a premier name. That is not going to happen. O is a dead man walking and the industry knows it. Whether it's this year (if Title IX) gets him or after next season, O is a goner. No one is putting their career in the hands of Orgeron that has other viable options.
The best LSU can hope for is another Pelini like retread trying to recapture past magic (or cashing a final check) or a young unknown looking to make a name for himself. Those hoping to win the press conference with a DC hire are going to be sadly disappointed.

You don't understand, if Orgeron's a dead man walking in 2021, then it doesn't matter who he hires bc the roster has been managed so badly that it'll get him canned next year anyway.

Most welcome it.

This way of doing things by O is so annoying!

I like this guy. I’d look for him at a Ole Miss or Mizzou before us.

Is a shame our head coach can’t personally find a talented hire without these “recommendations”

Everyone knew Les was a dead man walking going into 2016 but Aranda still came
