Possible Under the Radar Auburn Hire

Jeff Traylor from UTSA.
I know he's an excellent recruiter with deep ties throughout Texas and is one of the All Time Great Texas HS HC's.
54 yrs old and signed a 10 year extension last year when schools started sniffing around.
FWIW, I also think UTSA is an excellent landing point for Nuss.
Nothing other than my observations here.

But we’re in Alabama. I mean, the guy is probably a great coach, but we just dealt with a guy who tried to bring another region’s way of doing things to Auburn.

I loved all his hires. He makes good decisions and is very knowledgeable, it’s just never who you think. Even the ones that didn’t work out, like Moorhead, they were still insightful hires at the time.

Dabo won't come. Kiffen used the opening to get a raise. Is there some Gump or Georgia or Tenner or somewhere, Assistant that would be good?
Even Kevin Steele would suck if you asked me.
Fickell or the dude from Kansas would be stout hires but we're talking non south backgrounds again.
I think if somebody has to be brought in, then the Texas region with it's deep recruiting pool would be where I choose.

I saw where UCF got out to a big early lead on a terrible USF team today. And then almost pissed it away in the 2nd half. We’ve all seen that movie a few times.

Keep sending that money in and you might catch up eventually. 13 mil in Nil collective so far. More to come. Auburn collective had 10 mil a while ago.
