No he doesn't. He was saying on twitter the night before the bowl game that Chavis wasn't leaving... While some random dude on the A&M 247 board had the info 3 days earlier. He is only good for positive stuff that the staff WANTS people to know.

Isn't the dead period over on the 15th? What I'm saying is that if he waits stil after 1/23 then the new guy won't have time to pull any guys. It will likely be too late.

This would jive with what Shoop said about the timeline being not feasible for him. He was not going to wait around for 2-3 weeks while Les made up his mind.
I'm sure that many will agree with me and many will vehemently disagree with me...but I do not like Les' laid back, lack of urgency approach to this hire and I think it could gravely hurt us. JMO.
