What he has done at Minnesota is nothing short of amazing. He reminds me a lot of a younger Nick Saban.

Don’t think I could handle his schtick on a daily basis

Good coach tho

Probably better equipped for an “underdog”-type job

MF, you would have said the same about the Saban hire in 1999.

If this site had been around back then, it would have imploded.

Losing to Bowling Green as a 30-something point favorite is definitely amazing.

That said, if Tucker is a legitimate candidate, Fleck should be as well. Neither is going to happen though.

Saban loss to UAB and UL Monroe

CEO loss to Troy St.

I hat shite means nothing when the highs outweigh the low.

Fleck is young and has won a everywhere he has been.

I still love Fleck, but admittedly the Bowling Green loss will cool off anyone in a hurry

His row the boat schtick would never work here. He needs to be at a place that has no history so he can create his own culture.

This is laughable. PJ Fleck was never a coordinator on a CFP team, never was a coordinator in the NFL, never recruited at a high level or at an SEC school, and has never been personally recommended by Saban for a job. Tucker has already done about as much as Fleck has in the Big 10 in 2 less seasons.

Row row row your boat gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream..

Until Bowling Green throws a 31 Pt Underdog Outright bowling ball through the bottom of it..

The early luster has faded a lil bit!

I wanted Fleck to be looked at harder when we hired Orgeron.

I assume you understand these losses occurred during Saban's and Orgeron's first seasons.

I'm a Fleck fan, but he's in year 5. One great season in 2019 doesn't mean he needs to get a call from anybody right now.
