PJ does a good job mowing my lawn so he may be up for a promotion to a Heads Groundskeeper job somewhere.

The fact so many people don't pick up on the sarcasm shows most fans are way too invested and close to this coach search.

but to act like PJ Fleck shouldn't be given serious consideration also is just as absurd., Dude is a great recruiter and a proven winner. Also played and coached in the NFL. Is everything on Allevas list of requirements for a new HC. Actually has his little team ranked in the top 25 in the polls. Talk about doing more with less, just think what he could do with LSU talent and facilities. When everyone else is losing their shine, he still shines brightly.

PJF needs to coach at a mid-major school and if he could build an unblemished record there then he would be at the top of the search list. At this point he should be good for schools like Purdue but not so at LSU.

That's what he should do but not CEO.

Dude will get eaten alive in the sec west. Do not want! I agree with the other poster let him be a winner at say purdue or iowa state and beat some of the big boys instead of northwestern and middle tenn. then LSU should take a look.

I'm starting to lump those who think Jimbo and/or Herman wouldn't be good hires because of loses this season with those who think CEO is the savior of the program.

I hear you. Some of these people need to put down whatever they're drinking and/or smoking and take a step back. You can't fire a coach with Miles's record and a BCSNC (regardless of how much luck was involved) and then turn around and hire Orgeron. Don't get me wrong - I'm grateful for the way he's held things together through the turmoil, but if you do this, you've told the rest of the college football world that all your big talk about playing with the big boys was just that - a lot of talk, and in reality you still view yourself as small potatoes.

I only mentioned PJF because this thread is about him but Oeaux would be in the same boat of unproven ft hc at a mid major school and probably worst than PJF at a small school.
