True, but he also took over a 9 win Minnesota program and has gone 15-19 in conference play.
Aside from the 2019 season his Big Ten record is 8-17

Wtf? Would be a disaster. He’s all gimmicks and cliches

Kliff Kingsbury is on the verge of making the playoffs. Matt Rhule is doing a respectable job in his first year. Fleck succeeding is not out of the realm of possibility

Yea a team that lost all their talent off that 9 win team. And just like he did at western Michigan he improved them year after year until this year. He is a very good coach. I think he is prolly a much better college coach than pro coach but he does have a very intenvative offense.

Is he? He’s been a bit better than expected, but he’s a very good offensive coach with the perfect QB to run his system.

Matt Rhule has an NFL background and did an incredible job as Baylor considering what he walked into. I want to say Baylor had 0 commits when he took over. Taking them from that to competitive in such a short time was incredible. And I think he’s a pretty big Christian who likely treats his NFL guys with respect like men.

In college, of course it’s not. He may be a better Xs and Os coach than he’s given credit for, but his Tony Robbins’ row-the-boat life coach schtick would last about 6 weeks with grown arse men professional millionaires with families to take care of. They ain’t rowing no fricking boat. And I don’t think Fleck would want to try it. He knows he’s a college coach. No shame in that.

Minny was 37-28 in the 5 years before Fleck and 9-4 in the last year

Fleck is 26-19

He hasn’t really improved them as a program, and his personality seems awful for the NFL

He took Western Michigan, a program that has been around since the 1960s and has NEVER won double digit games from 1-11 to 13-1. Then he took Minnesota a historically 3rd class Big 10 team that no one wants to play for or gives a shite about to their most wins since 1904. NINETEEN ZERO FOUR.

So he’s Butch Jones?

Butch Jones followed Brian Kelly everywhere until Tennessee, how did that work out?

His general personality, aside from his coaching ability, will not go over well in an NFL locker room. Just my opinion.

I think the guy is a good coach, but this is a very good point. His motivational style isn’t going to work with pros without a lot of changes.

How has he proven that? He’s media hype and most get suckered by it.

His records at two historically mediocre to bad football programs say you are full of shite and have no idea what you are talking about.

It would be entertaining to watch Fleck try to get Albert Haynesworth to row the boat. Or even Suh
