Unhinged ignorance? This is factual data:

Drinkwitz is 0-15 since 2020 against SEC teams that finish with a winning conference record.

Against ranked teams
2020: 1-4, -97 point differential
2021: 0-3, -75 point differential
2022: 1-2, -35 point differential
2023: 3-2, +28 point differential
2024: 0-3, -69 point differential
2025: 0-3, -10 point differential
Total: 5-17, -258 point differential

Out of the five ranked wins he has during his tenure at Missouri…
beat LSU in 2020, who finished 5-5.
beat South Carolina in 2022, who finished 7-5.
beat Kansas State in 2023, who finished 8-4.
beat Kentucky in 2023, who finished 6-6.
beat Tennessee in 2023, who finished 8-4.

Answer a few things for me:

1)Where would Missouri, as a program, rank to you in within the SEC?

2)Of the 15 losses vs SEC Teams with winning records, how many were Missouri favored in? Better yet, how many of these games were they not double digit under dogs in?

3)of all of Drinkwitz's losses at Missouri, how many were losses when Missouri was favored in their game?

2020: 1-4, -97 point differential
2021: 0-3, -75 point differential

2023: 3-2, +28 point differential
2024: 0-3, -69 point differential
2025: 0-3, -10 point differential
Total: 5-17, -258 point differential

You see losses, and any competent person would see improvement and competitiveness, especially after taking over a low-tier SEC program from a coach that was fired.

I think it's funny this board hates Drink so much but loves Kiffin. Up until this year, they've essentially been the same coach, but with Drink winning at a place that's much more difficult to win at.

Over the last few years, both have benefited from easy schedules, both have struggled against top teams, etc etc. but for some reason, Kiffin is adored by most here and Drink is hated.

It's a little weird to me. I understand it could be personality based, but let's not act like Kiffin is the most lovable person on the planet.

Fwiw, I wouldn't mind either one.

You keep reposting that stupid shite completely ignoring everything else involved.

Again, him and Kiffin have been very similar coaches. Not sure why the extreme hate for Drink. He's not my top choice, but I think he'd do great here.

Linking stats like that for a coach at a school like Mizzou can possibly be a little misleading. Also, isn't Mizzou's starting QB out this year, yet they've still been a solid team in his absence.

Those of you trying to shite on Drink and turn him into a bad coach are a little clueless.

Nah. What’s ignorant is responding to hard facts with personal insults.

Drink is no better choice than potential candidates at G5 schools, coordinators ready to move up.

Maybe Drink could do a lot better at a better program with more talent - but why does LSU need to pay up to find out?

Let’s take that gamble with a cheaper hire.

Or gamble on a big name with highest ceiling.

Drink doesn’t fit either of those.

You are ignorant too if you consider those "hard facts" as relevant without any context.

I can’t think of a better coach for LSU than a guy with the nickname of “Drink”.
