I’m going with stupid. They are the types of idiots that have never been in management because they don’t have the ability to reason. They make decisions based on emotions just like that dumb frick Alleva who offered O because Herman wanted to hear from Texas.

Luckily Woodward doesn’t get swayed by outside voices unlike another AD

You're overthinking this dude. It's a message board.

Who are you talking about. Many of us have been against Riley from the beginning.
He can’t coach defense and can’t seem to find anyone who can.

It’s stupid.

I’m not lying when I say that a large segment of fans expect to hire someone who is absolutely 100% perfect.

Riley is the right guy if you can get him. I don’t think you can. Aranda you can get. And he’s proving himself every week.

I've wanted Aranda all along. The only thing this one game did was move some of the doubters into Aranda's corner with the rest of us.

OP, you aren’t wrong.

I think in this case, people are seeing Aranda vs. Riley the past TWO games (2019 @ LSU with superior talent) and today at Baylor with less talent, and beaten Riley both times convincingly.

I’m Team Aranda all along but Riley would be a major upgrade over our past two coaches.

Both will do well here. I tend to be a defense first person which is why Aranda appeals to me.

But is it based on one game? Aranda was high on the radar for this board already. If not for the casto thread (which was awesome btw) then Riley wouldn't have been so high coming into today for us and the Aranda threads wouldn't seem so crazy. I mean this board has championed Aranda well before today, it's not like he suddenly burst on the scene because of one game.
