Seemed about as much of a sure thing as Vrabel to NE was

Not my top pick but great track record (even with Mac) and has little chance of moving on so should have consistency at that role for the next decade if he’s good

He supposedly spent the off year with Ohio state trying to simplify and modernize his concepts. He’ll have a blank slate to work with here so we’ll see

Also sounds like Terrell Williams, lions Dline coach is the Defensive coordinator hire

The brain drain in Detroit is going to be something to watch.

That’s was ended up really accelerating the end of the BB era, so much brain drain and not adequately replacing the talent in the building eroded the strongest foundation in the league at the time

I feel like the splurges end up coming at Oline and on defense in FA

Would love to grab a few of KCs FAs like Nick Bolton and Trey Smith and add a tackle like Alaric Jackson or Jerrick Willis and then Jevon Holland to top it off and you’ve got a squad that could compete

Not feeling great about many good weapons being available in FA, would rather reinforce the trenches and back end and allow us to take a weapon or trade down. Tet would look nasty in this offense after a revamped oline

Happy for him.

So glad he got yet another opportunity to coach for the one and only franchise where he was successful.

Couldn't agree more with all that. Maye did well with what he had this past year give him some oline help.

Look out.

One of the names I saw mentioned for promotion that could benefit from all that is former LSU great Kelvin Sheppard who is their LB coach currently

As bad as he was, statistically we’ve been worse the following two years after
