their Plan B is Frost (actually HE was their Plan A), and they're not getting him, either.

Plan C is Strong or Taggart.

Especially given Kelly’s track record. The Bucs thought he was on his way to Tampa Bay, but changed his mind the next day.

I think Frost already told us no, I think we would go straight to Strong as plan B. I don't think people realize how much our administration loves that guy. It's Kelly or Strong and Kelly looks less and less likely by the day.

I know the stink from Strong's Texas tenure hasn't worn off but you could do a lot worse.

We have about 4000 fry cooks all trying to be a chef and the real chef looks like he is just happy to have a job and playing around on Twitter. Not a great situation.

I would root like hell for him but I think we all know Charlie Strong isn't gonna win titles. It is what it is though.

Not the current administration, I do not think Stricklin would hire Strong.

Boosters matter and he is liked a great deal with people who matter. I can only hope you are right and I'm off base.

I would hope the search extended beyond Kelly from the beginning.

Not to say that Foley doesn't have some influence, but the work that Stricklin has been doing behind the scenes fundraising and overhauling the facility master plan has endeared him to the boosters. He's incredibly popular himself.

Yup everyone that isn't a Florida fan would love that hire, and I would cry. I'm preparing for it.

That's good news like I said I hope I'm way off base, i'm just a pessimist when it comes to our program these days. It's hard to have faith right now.

I have no doubt Strong would do better at UF than he did at Texas. I realize that isn't saying much, but UF, unlike Texas, has in place a tradition of good defense.

I’m starting to think no one has a clue what Kelly is going to do.

I don't know why my thread was deleted because it is absolutely relevant. Forde was 100% wrong about McElwain hours before he was fired, yet we're supposed to believe his sources at UF are going to feed him accurate information about the hiring of a coach. He's the guy the feed inaccurate info.

Read: "Hey Chip, we're willing to move on if you don't make a decision soon."

This is the "power move" of the chick that's been giving you free blow jobs but wants to make the relationship a little more permanent. "Either date me or the blowjobs stop and I'm moving on to someone else." Deep inside, however, she (like Florida) knows she will still blow the guy if he (like Chip) calls her over after drinking at the bar.

Don't be desperate Florida. Don't allow reports like this to get out to show just how bad you want Chip. Have some pride!!!
