I think that it’s likely to be 1.) another young, up and comer from the NFL or 2.) promote DJ Mangus to keep continuity because of his familiarity with the offense and how close he was to seeing how Brady and E. worked together.

Here are a few NFL names:
Mike LaFleur - PASS GAME COORD. - SF 49ers
Joe Bleymaier - PASS GAME ANALYST/ASSIS. QBs - KC Chiefs
Dave Ragone - PASS GAME COORD - Chicago Bears
Dan Pitcher - ASSIS. QBs - Cincinnati Bengals
Bo Hardegree - OFF. ASSIS. - NY Jets
Cameron Turner - OFF. ASSIS./ASSIS. QBs - AZ Cardinals
Zach Azzanni - WR - Denver Broncos
Shea Tierney - OFF. ASSIS. - Buffalo Bills
Brad Kragthorpe - OFF. ASSIS. - Cincinnati Bengals
Justin Rascati - OFF. QUALITY CONTROL - Denver Broncos
Jason Vrable - OFF. ASSIS. - Packers

Jake Peetz is another that would fit the Brady model, if that's what they're looking to do again.

Said it on another thread, but I really like the Co-OC system that they used this year, even after Coach E decides to move on. It just makes sense. And if they are both getting paid well and it provides an opportunity for career advancement, not being THE OC should not be a problem unless you have an inflated ego. If you do, that may be a sign that you aren't the right fit here.

If you don't have an ego, you don't make it to that level of coaching. Coaches, especially coordinators, are crtiicized 10-1 over praised, they are fired regularly, sometimes through no fault of their own, they are held accountable for how people who barely can buy alcohol play in from of 100,000 Screaming idiots. If you don't have an ego, at some point you give up.

It's doesn't matter what the title is, the buck stops with one man. Somebody makes the decisions on what is practiced and what is called in the game. When you see Co-OC, it's normally that guy and somebody that coaches a position that they needed to pay more to stay.

When you have a RGC/PGC coordinator scenerio, you still have to have ONE GUY deciding when to run and pass. That guy is the actual OC. If he let's the PGC call the pass plays, he's braver than I am. It's hard to get in a play calling rhythm when you don't know what's coming next. And if you're PGC and know when a pass is coming, so does the defensive coordinator.

We definitely saw this with Gary Crowton. Guy was an excellent OC, Miles handicapped him, then fired him when it started to bite Les in the arse.

Joey Blaymeier will get an NFL HC job next year. He’s not coming.

I'm thinking it might be some one still coaching.

I know nothing about the man, but bringing a guy from the Chiefs would be impressive.

Joe Bieymaier or Bo Hardegree, with a Pelini hire, would overload the cajun conversion machine.

"O hired Bo and Joe after Coco made them gumbo."

"Eaux got him a Beaux-Beaux, and went 30 & eaux."
