Purely my prediction, no sauces:
Aranda gets a nice raise and more decision making within.
This gives Alleva options at a later date. If/when a position comes up that Aranda would take he then has the option without making it look so dramatic. Let’s be honest, If Aranda was promoted tonight and Orgeron fired it would be shocking. Alleva doesn’t have those kind of balls.
I am hopeful that the paycheck and promotion are the groundwork by Alleva to have Aranda take over the team in the future.

Liucci is a dick, but he is extremely reliable. That's simply a fact.
He is confident that Aranda will be at A&M, but I don't think he's said that it is a done deal.
