Given the recent history of the coaches profession, would anyone believe him? I think the prevailing sentiment in the profession now is to be quiet or say "No comment" rather than deny.

I get the feeling that Miles is making sure this gets handled much better this time around

This silence is deafening. Would not be surprised if Miles is fielding calls and making decisions right now.

People forgot that Miles never denied anything with regards to UM until he signed the extension and his comments before the SECCG at which point Herbie was claiming he was the next coach at UM.
I simply think Les is going to use this as another contract/money ploy like he did in 2007 even if he has no interest in the job.
Who knows if Les hasn't been offered and is waiting until tomorrow to decide and give his decision one way or the other, thus Michigan's delay in announcing the decision on Rich Rod.

If Les decided to respond to every internet rumor about him being fired or leaving for another job, he would have to call a press conference once a week.
He will speak when it is important enough for him to need to. Right now he is preparing his team for a bowl game.

Given Les' history, if he said something it would be foolish not to believe him. However, absent a travesty like Herbstreit's gaffe in 2007, Les will do things his way, on his schedule, not when the press (or the Rant) wants him to.

Anyone else find it strange that BelowPar hasnt chimed in.
