This is only his 7th season as a HC. It's not like there's a real large sample size to judge him on when you take half of those years away.

Meyer won an NC before Tebow with Chris Leak.

Meyer won the the NC with both Leak and Tebow in 2006. Leak started but Tebow played in certain packages.

I like Fisher. It sounds like you are asking "what has he done when he wasn't winning championships?" Besides Herman, who else would you consider elite coaches that LSU could have the chance of getting?
