I think Stoops would be a GREAT LSU COACH
Comes from a football family
Knows how to recruit
Has made UK "ALL" it can be, based upon recruiting (there's no way to go any further for him)
LSU for a Solid Coach X's and O's, STOOPS WOULD BE GREAT

Spend much time in reality? Just wait till you spend a season playing a steady diet of SEC teams. It's a big difference from playing two or three tough games each season. Ignorance based bravado is so fun to watch.

It’s how he does it and where his connections are. He’s taken a school on the edge of the south that didn’t have a football identity and built them like a B10 team. That works fine at UK and maybe Mizzou, but it won’t work here.
So either you have a good (not great) coach who would come in trying to pound a square peg into a round hole here, or he’s completely remaking his identity as a head coach. Either way, what he’s done at UK isn’t portable and it’s a bigger risk than many of you think.
Also, are none of you wary of the fact that it took Stoops 5 years to go out and hire a guy who could put a somewhat competent offense on the field? Not one that is modern in the college football sense, mind you, but just better than the bottom 3 in the league in passing. For the record, they are 10th in passing (our mediocre and inconsistent pass attack is 5th) and only 7th in rushing now that they’ve played a few good teams.
Stoops looks better than what he is because of WHERE he is. He should take a lesson from Dan Mullen and stay there.
