As Tiger fans we can't believe Ed would choose Tenn over our beloved Tigers but, what we are not seeing is the truth. The truth is he made the best deciesion for his family with a job almost paying twice as much and a contract twice as long. As a bonus, Ed is a defensive guy and now he gets to work under the NFL's best defensive guru in Monty Kiffin. Thats like a coputer guy getting to work and train under Bill Gates. Wake up everyone this is a business for coaches. It's about their families and their well-being. Think about what you write, these coaches have kids reading this stuff...I can tell you if the deal would have been even close Orgeron would be a Tiger. We have always heard of an offer you can't refuse!!! he got one.

what is so funny about your anology is bill gates used other peoples ideas and really wasn't that big of a computer wiz.

Ok, now kiffin is better than bill b., Jim Johnson, Steve Spagnuolo, jeff fisher, rex ryan, ect.

i'm not saying he isn't good. Just not the best.

Mallory couldn't run pelini's defense. If your good, your good at what you do.

At some point you have to be your own man. Doesn't matter who you learn from. You can learn to ride a bike from lance armstrong, doesn't make you lance armstrong.

L.s.u provided him a GREAT offer, he mad a choice what he felt was better for him. However, has O's history led you to believe he makes good choices?

no sour grapes, from me. I know l.s.u. will be fine without O.

Just a guy who has made a decision to live in louisiana for him family. i understand, if what O was sporting is true, about wanting your family here. That appears to be a false statement to me.

hey skin

you forgot the part where traitorous coonasses disappear into LA swamps never to be seen again....

actually, IMO we don't need his big mouth...the cajun disappearing act would be a waste. humiliation by the Tigers would be a better way to handle this

Like I said before, LSU doesnt "need" O. He will be a pain in N$ side! I am glad he is going to UT.

Bobby was duped by the Jimmie Sexton machine. Feel bad for the guy. Maybe O was paying him back for not sending his son to Ole Miss.

So by "real story" you mean your interpretation of what went down?

If so, he knew Monty was in on day one. Why the nonsense with Bobby about not wanting to leave, etc. It was a cheap move and he played Bobbr and LSU. Work out the best for us though IMO.

that's all i see. i didn't hear any interest in O until after Kiffin showed interest and O started the buzz about rather coaching at LSU. played the business part perfectly, but burned bridges personally with the fanbase and boosters. it's my theory it was a booster push to get O here and Miles wasn't on board at first.
