Do they try to get Chip Kelly back, or do they try to lure Chris Peterson to come over.
I typically don't think Peterson would move, but this is interesting being that it's still in the NW.

Id like to think so. But we know Strong wasnt their first choice. Unless they are unimpressed by Herman now I doubt he returns

Pure insanity where CFB is headed. He wants Chip back but he's staying in the pros until they fire him. I think Scott Frost will eventually end up there.

I think Chip hit their ceiling. Theyll make it to the final 4 but simply dont have the players needed to run with teams like Bama,

Yeah I'm trying to think about who they could realistically get there with that money that would have a good chance at winning a championship within 5 years.
They could probably get Herman, or at least get him to give it serious though. Jimbo would maybe be interested. Sumlin? Take the heat and go after Briles?

They were a field goal away from a title, in the playoffs a few years ago, and was shafted out of the BCS title game in the early '00s. That is on par with what USC has done the last 15 years.

With this news, I'd just offer Jimbo the 6-7 it takes to get it done and call it a day. Let Uncle Phil and Texas go to war with each other over Herman.
