OM has alumni capable ofg their football program. John Grisham is worth $400 M, and earns $50-80 M in royalties each year.

Morgan Freeman is an OM supporter not an alumnus. He's worth $250 M

You're the worst. Crappy man is so ironic.

Can’t afford and won’t afford are two different things.

Yes. But many think OM lacks big boosters and can't sustain keeping Kiffin and NIL. They do and all are not celebrities.

Those schools only go broke if the donors cut them off. I suspect winning fixes a lot of problems

Ole Miss is loaded with big time money…..Go lookup Richard Scruggs past attorney that took on Tobacco industry! I think he’s worth close to 2 Billion.

Now let’s do LSU:

Holden Spaht - $5bln (non-alum donor)
Todd Graves - $9.5bln
Shaq - $500mln

Alum, not sure if they donate:
Gayle Benson / William Goldring both $7bln.

Royalties from book sales. He was paid for 9 movies based on his books. The math does add up.

Kiffin may well string LSU along but in the end, LSU can make an offer that OM will feel obligated to match (for various reasons) and in doing so not have resources to continue the overall fight. LSU may not get Kiffin (so what) but will cause serious financial harm. Advantage LSU!

If LK and OM are negotiating the sticking point is probably what LK would owe OM if he left in the future. if OM is going to break the bank, they will want some assurances that they’re not going through this every couple of years.

Yeah either way it’s a bad look. You either will not pay what you contracted to pay or you’re unable to pay what you contracted to pay.

If hes been making 50 million a year in book royalties for 20 years his net worth should be approaching a billion

LSU robbed a children's hospital to pay a player who last played in 2015 and also to fire a coach 6 years later? Nice one ya sister fricking retard

Ole Miss just closed on a 1.75 billion dollar capital campaign. They have plenty of deep pockets. They have billionaires, just like LSU and other schools.

That’s just foolish. OM is very well funded with a well funded NIL program. The fans contribute significantly.

One could question their priorities. But the sports programs don’t want for much.

And damn lucky to be so. Your schedule is an abject, embarrassing joke and pathetically easy.

State fan, how’d you get in here?

Maybe next year you can get two SEC wins.
