Chad Morris (if given 7 years) would build WAOM into fricking Clemson West.
Full Tilt Boogaloo Hammer Down Time!

Give lil B Bielema an invite for a return to WAOM 1960’s style glory!

Baylor hire is honestly why so many ole miss fans are mad about where we are.
Baylor isn't in the SEC West though and their OOC schedule is awful.

I give Luke credit for stepping into a bad situation and doing fairly well. Personally, I think the man deserved a better fate. I hope that he saved his money and finds another job; he has a great deal of potential

I never feel bad for a coach that gets paid 6 million to just walk away. He was not even a good offensive line coach for us prior to becoming interim then full head coach.
He should mow the lawn of whoever decided on giving him the reigns for life without receiving another dime.

Not sure I would’ve wanted to enter such a busy market as this year is turning out to be but ole miss will be ole miss
Based on the way we hired Luke followed by our President and AD, I have to agree with you. Just keep in mind this came out of nowhere. The base had been told we were giving Luke one more year. The explanation was that there just wasn’t anyone willing to pay his buyout. After the Egg Bowl, we got the pledges to pay him off. Now what we don’t know is whether we also got a pledge from another coach to take the job.

Carter told players we be naming the HC in a week or a week and a half. Sounds like he has someone in mind already.

Ole Miss has one thing on their mind.
Putting the offense in place now for Arch Manning in three years.
No way Arch goes to Ole Miss with Rich Rodriguez running the offense.
Biggest mistake Ole Miss made was canning Cutcliffe.
He could have been a lifer for Ole Miss and would have been the most stable coach for their program.

Luke has appeared to be the scapegoat since the beginning. I think he was given the chance because nobody else would take the job. He seems like a genuinely solid human being, good coach, and recruiter. I think he needed to go to a smaller school as a HC before taking on a SEC HC.
The thing that stinks to me is that he was never going to be "the guy." Why would you do that to a former player and coach?

If you switch Luke for Odom in your post, this is pretty much the exact same thing with the Mizzou job.
