It's funny Oklahoma fans like to beat their chest about 7 National Championships, but their last one was 20 years ago, and another in the mid 80's, with all the rest pre-1980. That's a blue blood whose blood isnt so blue anymore.

Riley has put together some amazing offenses since he's been at OU.
If he gets a proven DC, and LR continues to produce all these insane offenses, he'd be a force in the SEC.
OU always seems to slip up in the Big 12 because OU's defense had a busted coverage or something along those lines and end up losing to a team they shouldn't have. It almost happened at least twice this season.
If he hires a proven DC, he'd be a force. What I mean is, he already is a force but not necessarily on the defensive side of the ball. He's been to the CFP for how many years in a row? I know he's produced at least two Heisman winners in consecutive years.
It's hard to argue with that.

All everyone here ever says is his style of offense makes it nearly impossible to have a good defense. They have their pick of recruits and their D is still mediocre at best. Grinch was very well regarded before he went to OU and now people talk about him like he's trash.

Ohio State fans would tell you otherwise. With that said though, grinch has improved just the overall quality of the defense. the problem is they have no depth and when guys get hurt they fall right back to what their reputation is in the secondary. if Riley was serious about leaving, lsu's backups showing out against bama cant hurt our chances.

Do you people not pay attention to recruiting at all? OU has equal talent to LSU currently both blue chip ratio and talent composite. OU is an hour from Dallas and is THE best national recruiting program of the past 20 years. OU recruits Cali better than USC. Top 10 classes with Riley’s choice of whatever offensive talent he wants from anywhere, and since the sec announcement 2022 will finish top 5. Riley is not leaving lol.
