They run basically the same thing now, though.
not really. clemson doesn't run that much option, and what gus runs now is mostly option
boyd has less than 200 yards rushing, bro
he's thrown the ball 450+ times

Look at our offense in 2009, Gus changes it to fit the QB he has in
We've been switching in Kiehl due to Trotter and Moseley not being successful, so we're running a mix of 2009 and 2010

He's not as great of a runner as Newton or Frazier, plus he's a great passer

See above
I also already noted that Gus likes to run more vs Morris liking to pass

gus has had 2 distinct offenses as a college coordinator. morris's offense has a little of the 2nd, but it also had a ton of other random offenses thrown in. last night i was watching the VT-clemson game trying to identify them all with a college coach buddy of mine. it was like trying to count the rappers on bodyparts 2 by three 6 mafia

And FWIW, he's carried it 132 times this year...2nd most on the team

Morris was on pace to become the all-time winningest coach in Texas High School history. His key to success was not being afraid to jump from job to job and I think he will be very careful with his next jump. Had Sherman lasted another year, I think he would have gotten serious consideration at Texas A&M. I've known Chad since I was in the fifth grade--smart, detail oriented, passionate--he will be a head coach in the near future, IMO.

RT @fbrumormill Chad Morris has agreed to a new contact to remain at Clemson as the football program’s offensive coordinator.

Why would Urban want to pay an OC 1.5m$? Seems like they could use that money better by filling out other areas. It's going to be Urban's offense at the end of the day anyway.
Urban has probably realized his offense sucks w/o Timmy Tebow running it is my guess
