Official SC hires S&C coach Paul Jackson from Ole Miss ....

Jackson had been at Ole Miss since 2012 and apparently has really made a name for himself.
Small, sparkplug of a guy with LSU ties.
It was apparent that Ole Miss was getting it done in the weight room ... had no clue about this guy until I started reading about his accolades.

Ole Miss let him go when Lane came in...

Had literally just changed that when you posted. We did it at the same time.
Story we are getting is that Boom went after Jackson the day he fired Dillman and Jackson already had one foot out the door.
Who knows.
Kiffin gets to bring his S&C coach along with him from FAU for half the money Jackson was making at Ole Miss and 1/3rd the money just approved for him at SC.
It's a good deal for both programs apparently. Ole Miss sure suffered a lot less soft tissue injuries than we've been suffering at SC under Dillman. I'm just happy that shite stirring POS Dillman is gone. Never could stand that guy. He was a loud mouthed trouble making back stabber the first day he arrived.

Paul Jackson is probably a decent strength & conditioning coach but our teams always seemed to be weaker and smaller than opposing teams the last few years. I don’t know how much of that is due to not having 4 & 5 stars athletes all over the field but Ole Miss fans were not disappointed when he was not retained.

You really need to throw the "e" after SC to prevent confusion.

lulz wut?
Ole Miss has consistently been on the low end of the league's injury stats since 2014 .... since two years after he arrived.
Whereas under Dillman (3 years at UF and 4 years at SC) and his seven years as a S&C coach, he led the league five years in injuries .... 2 at UF and 3 at SC.
We managed to actually beat out Bama even this past year when they suffered the most 6 games lost or more injuries (20) since Saban arrived and we had 21.
Anything under 12 (season ending or 6 games or more) is considered a league norm.
SC lost 107 game starts to injuries this past season. Bama was #2 with 94. Ole Miss was 10th with just 51.
Interestingly enough, the fewer the starts lost the better the seasons had. LSU lost only 38 starts this season, good enough for last in the league.
Not sure where you are getting your info from but Ole Miss has not had more than 70 starts lost since 2012, Jackson's first year at Ole Miss. Since then it's been 65, 48, 51, 59, 44, 53, 51.
There are going to be injuries in this league that are unavoidable. The ones that are avoidable are soft tissue related like groins, quads, hamstrings, calves, delts and pects. SC has been quailed with those types of injuries. Three groins alone in the past two years, which is unheard of. Not to mention the high ankle sprains and rash of cramping.
The best S&C coach in the league is now at UT imho. Fitz is incredible. I wish we could have gotten him back. He's not just all about lifting but he'll bring in yoga instructors for stretching as well .... and that's key, Flexibility and range of movement. Dillman totally failed at that.

Jackson is garbage. Glad you're excited, I guess.

I am assuming Lane Kiffin passed on keeping him. That would explained he wanted a better one and it should be fine for Ole Miss.
