Petrino and Pellini as co-head coaches. Each making 7.5 mil a year.

Brown stays on as a "consultant" to break the ties. Does it for the love of the university and foregoes salary.

I never thought about it, but Petrino would be a damn good hire and It's probably been long enough. Just sayin.

Agree. Co-eds look better which is a plus for him.

Harbaugh or Miles are the names bandied about. Dont see those guys taking the bait. Dabo maybe

Both Miles & Dabo have already been in contact with Texas - Dabo saying he'd bring his whole staff.

Would be the logical choice; a coach who knows Texas recruiting and who is perceived as doing more with less.

I think Texas has already knows who they want and already got everything worked out. Now its just a matter of timing.... Why else would Mack announce now he is stepping down but still coaching the bowl game???

Their first choice will be Saban. Whether they get him or not is another question.

I don't think Urban is a good fit. His brand of felony football players won't play well.

They could do a lot worse than Franklin from Vandy.

I would call Mike McCoy for shits and giggles. That guy is one hell of a coach. But in reality Larry Fedora,Brian Kelly,or Chad Morris will be the hire.
