With Canada not working out for whatever reason, this hire should be a pass or fail decision. The offense doesn't get better then fire O and Alleva...

It does determine it. Completely.

Which is why I sleep at night knowing it wont be Ensminger.

That, and he doesnt want the position.

I believe it was one of the writers for The Advocate that wrote Ensminger being a candidate for O.C. Hopefully he's simply repeating what O said after the A&M Game about "considering" Ensminger. We all know Ensminger did not want to be the permanent O.C. I just hope he hasn't changed his mind and become interested because I fear O and Alleva could be foolish enough to pull the trigger on it.

hiring Ensminger should warrant automatic firing!

All that needs to be said

Whoever ends up being the OC basically holds Orgeron and Alleva’s jobs in their hands. If the offense looks like arse and we lose 5-6 games next year, both of them will be out on their respective asses.

It usually never ends well when your athletic department is completely in control of football decisions

Its what has handicapped many programs over the years, perfect example of that is Texas

Whatever the hire is, we will know soon enough what will happen to O and Alleva depending on how next season shakes out. There is no room for a mistake here

I agree. He needs to worry less about public perception and more about keeping his damn job

GeauxTigerNation -- Do you think O said Ensmingers name to give a hint that he wants more of a pro-style offense here? Maybe he doesn't actually want Ensminger but he wants his methods? Just some food for thought.

How about a big fat

I guess you will be happy with constant failed hirings , there is a loser section for people like you to sit it. Thanks for your input

Hey dude. Fates to be decided by how many games you win.
