And that’s sorta what frustrates me about the hire. Why does it have to be some brilliant hire? Why can’t he just make a easy good hire.
No one said that when we hired Chavis in 2009. No one said that when we hired Aranda in 2016. No one thought Les was brilliant when those hired worked out. We just thought he was a guy who went out and hired two good coordinators.

My wish is for LSU to be good.
2019 Was one of the most fun years I can Remember. I would love to feel like that again. Coaches like Les and O are 1000x more fun than CUM or Saban when you’re winning.
You just gotta keep winning.
And like I said he could come out looking like a fricking genius. Not ruling that out.
Hoping for it. But it’s gonna be a long offseason waiting to see it.

It’s a hire that reeks of desperation. If Woodward offers Jones a multi-million dollar contract with another ridiculous buyout then every season ticket holder and fan needs to turn their back on the clown show that LSU has become.

We have top recruiting classes every year, our coaches get hired for HC/NFL gigs if they do well, and we won a natty in 2019. I think we're pretty far from a dumpster fire no matter how you feel about O.

My only problem is that he didn’t hire someone with coordinator experience. After the show last year this was a must area of improvement. I wish nothing but the best for him. Hopefully in a few years we will be fighting to keep him.

This hire is way less volatile when you talk to people in real life

We hired a guy that may or may not succeed as a DC. They hired some intertwined in a child rape case. That's what got schiano annulled. Definitely not the same thing.
