I remember when Houston hired art Briles. He was the Stephenville Texas head coach. I actually played against him. But he had been a running back coach before they hired him for a couple of years at least lol.

They were fricking destroying people in Stephenville

Faust's Notre Dame coaching career started ith a 27–9 victory over LSU in the 1981 season opener. We were at that game in South Bend and the Notre Dame fans were livid because Faust had added stripes on the jersey.

I loved Jerry Stovall as a player. He was one of the reasons I REALLY became an LSU fan, but he wasn’t head coach material. I’m just grateful he stepped in when Bo was killed. So that and Dardar’s arse whipping of Remington were good memories of his time there. NO WAY REMINGTON SHOULD HAVE SHARED MVP. Yeah yeah, I watched the second half..
