If Les Miles goes to Michigan, where are we going to find a coach that wins 80% of his games and recruits in the top 10 every year? We should do whatever it takes to keep Miles.

what if he wins 80% of the games? since when is recruiting national championships counted? doesnt matter how many 5 star guys you have on offense if you still rank in the 90s

If you think Mullen would turn down Florida and then go to LSU you are absolutely kidding yourself. Look at Florida, we should cross out every name on their list including and above Muschamp and go from there. Take of your purple and gold glasses, anyone who turned down Florida isn't creaming themselves to coach LSU.

Didn't Mullen have issues with the AD at Florida when he left?

Idk mayeb they don't want to have to compete for recruits against a resurgent Florida State, or maybe they didn't want to take of over an 8-5 team. LSu has more talent, and we are THE school in Louisiana. I think we are a good job. Plus Muschamp was a hot name amoung younger coaches. We don't knwo how high up he was on their list,

Lubbock, I do not want tuberville here at LSU. We can do alot better.

Palo Alto? Harbuagh is not coming here, end of story.

Boise, Peterson that would be a interesting hire. If he would be willing to come here.

Bottom line none of these guys are going to win and recurit better than Miles.

Go back to when Miles was hired. Its not like he had a resume that screamed winner. Miles has proven that at LSU if you recruit well and have some good assistants you can win alot of games....it definitely is not because Miles is great with the x's and o's.

All the doomsdayers should look at how miles was percieved prior to coming and think if he could do this at LSU i am sure there are quite a few others that could do the same.
