No reason why that could not be a decent 1-AA program, but for whatever reason they have not been able to put it together for years. If he is still around, they need to hire Pat Collins as a consultant as he turned what was then NLU into a national 1-AA power and even won a 1-AA natty. Collins was recruiting but also taking some of the cast-offs from some of the big schools. Stan Humphries was originally at LSU before getting run off, wound up at NLU and was the QB for their NC team back in the 80's.
