No BCS game other than the National Championship Game can take the Big 10 Champs from the Rose Bowl. So if you were playing in a game other than the Rose that wasn't the National Championship, you wouldn't have been playing in the Rose pre-BCS, either.

Your right, nobody wants to be the head coach at the winningest program in college football history. C'mon now, after reading some of these posts i can see how a degree from U of M differs from that thing you wipe your rear end on from LSU.

Shame on you. Of course Michigan is acedemicaly superior. No one questions that, but I would expcet you to show some class. Denigrating the intelligence and education of LSU people on their own board is low.

Maybe you could get the coach from App State?

On a more serious note, I don't think Michigan understands the nature of college football today. People aren't just going to line up and beg to be head coach at UM. No one is doubting that it's a solid program and solid recruiting ground. UM needs to find their guy and throw some serious money his way. If you want to get someone like Schiano you're going to have to put up a lot of money to convince him that he's better off at UM. The expectations and pressure are much higher and the pay should be also.

UM needs to step it up and put down some big money if they want a solid coach.

These posts show no class. I challenge the intelect of trying to say that no one wants to coach a top notch program.

I agree, we do need to throw some money around. I also do not agree with some of the things that Bill Martin is doing. The only reason we are behind the times is because of lloyd. That will be erased once we find our guy.

Hey TigerWoody. My program speaks for itself. Your recent run is great, but withstand it for a long period of time then you can talk to me.

I'm sorry. I think my great grandpa was alive during your recent run. And if it speaks for itself then shut the frick up and help Martin find all those coaches lining up to come there.

LSU is new to the College Football Party!

But Michigan is passed out in the corner from too many Beer Bongs from Ohio State, and Bowl Opponents.

Michigan should get Ron Zook. At least he's beaten OSU. Makes more sense than Ferentz.

The last 4 yrs have sucked for Michigan....although 11-2 wasnt terrible last yr.

Before that though we had a great 90s going into 2000. Folks that wanna make the comments about living 20 yrs in past dont know squat.

The last few yrs have been a bad run with Carr and crew, hopefully this ship gets righted.

Funny how Lloyd didn't leave Michigan but he left the coaching job with the football team in a sorry state.

It's a good stepping stone job. Weak conference.
Really have ONE game a year to worry about -- Ohio State.

Good "jump to the pros" gig.

By the way, take a look at what your ex-football players think about the way you boys treat your own.
