you gotta admit that he's working his arse off right now. He's a damn good agent.

Spurrier
Nutt
Saban
Tuberville

Nutt gets a new job, maybe Tuberville too, and Saban and Spurrier are having their names tossed around like candy. He certainly knows how to get his clients leverage!

Well, to be fair, Nutt took a step down because he had to. Let's not pretend he got a step up.

Nothing has happened with the other 3 as of yet. It's a huge leap at this point to assume they'll be going anywhere or getting any kind of raise.

I am laughing at Sexton shopping Saban around in only his first year at Bama. I thought even as slimy as Sexton and Saban are they would at least leave Bama alone for a year to let the media ill will die down.
Sexton is as slimy as they come. I hope LSU never hires another of his clients.

good point.

But I'm not so much in awe of his client list, it's the fact that all of those guys, simultaneously, are either getting more money, or at the very least, more leverage in possible negotiations.

SOS, Phillip Fulmer

Jimmy Sexton
Being a fan can be a problem for Jimmy Sexton during the college football season. He's a University of Tennessee (UT) graduate with a skybox at Neyland Stadium. But he's also a sports agent whose clients include high-profile coaches in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) such as Phillip Fulmer, Tommy Tuberville, Steve Spurrier, and Houston Nutt.

No, they have to shop him NOW, like today, if he goes 7-5 next year, and loses to Auburn again, he's DONE, KAPUT, and they won't have nearly the value. He'd have some buyout money, but to keep working he's have to take $1.8 million type money at a mid-major, or worse yet, $750k or so to be a DC in the NFL (if anyone will in the league will have him.)
