why would he the jags are really good and that defense has probably the best chance(although not good chance) to beat the pats.plus the nfl pensions are to good too leave

College is whole diff monster than the pros, just ask Callahan.

Reasons why Del Rio comes to LSU:
- when searching for a coach to fill the empty spot Saban left, LSU wanted to contact Del Rio. His agent declined any contact. Del Rio's agent was then fired immediately after that b/c Del Rio wanted to at least talk to LSU.
- he is familiar with the area, his daughter goes to LSU right now.
- he might enjoy coaching college where there's actually emotion and more of a chance to succeed than in the NFL.
Why he might not want to come to LSU:

i think del rio would be awesome on the sidelines. Can you imagine him in suit with a purple and gold tie with oakleys on

Or Charlie Weis. That is the thing that worries me about del Rio. He has never coached at the college level.

Last time I looked his name is Del Rio-not Callahan or Weiss. He has had good teams for a number of years in the NFL is not too failing at it like Saban who quit.

That's not what history says. He went 5-11 in 2003 and 9-7 (barely missed playoffs) in 2004. How is that "bad and about to be fired"? The next year he did make the playoffs...
