Harbaugh (Stan) to Vikings?

And the Vikings and Cowboys are both interested in both Harbaugh and Saban (and add Cowher for the Cowboys) - the problem is: Both Jerry Jones and the Wilfs are more "budget" minded than either Harbaugh and Nicky are comfortable. Harbaugh is more flexible and may get the Vikings job. If he does, that hurts Nicky with Jerry because he won't have that dangling out there to negotiate the all-important "control" issue.

Ultimately, if Jerry wants Saban (and make no mistake, that's absolutely his first choice, and to a lesser degree is Minnesota's) he will have to ramp up the pay beyond what he's remotely comfortable with, OR give up more control than he wants.

I think Saban sees that Penn State will open in 2 to 4 years. IF he's going to make it in Dallas, he'll know by the time Joe Pa hangs it up. Nicky always has a backup plan.

Chan Gailey in Buffalo

Why is he a head coach in the NFL? I don't know if I'd want him coaching my high school team.

Jeff Fisher- Titans

Really? The Titans have ebbs and flows, but I just can't see them getting rid of Fisher.

John Fox- Panthers

Great coach IMHO. He just needs talent, which has been lacking in Carolina, not to mention that the NFC South has been getting better. I'd scoop him up in a minute if I were a team like the 49ers, Bengals or Bills.

ESPN's Adam Schefter believes the Panthers will strongly consider Cardinals assistant head coach/offensive line Russ Grimm to be their next head coach.

Norv Turner and Jim Caldwell need to be added to the hot seat list.
Seriously, how do you get raped by the Raiders twice in a season.
How in the frick do you underachieve with Peyton Manning as QB?

Broncos go outside for new hire
Kubiak is done

Frazier and Garrett named permanent coaches

I think Mangini could still be on hot seat and Dolphins under Sparano might be getting close too
Amazing no QB could doom Jimmy Johnson, Nick Saban, and Parcells protege

Caldwell could be an interesting decision as well, Polian will not like this collapse but injuries have been devastating. I could see Dungy back to Colts one day or even Saban

Gailey is not on the Hot Seat. He has done an amazing job with the QB he was left with. Fitz is a rising star, thanks to Gailey. If you watch any of the games, you will see. He may need some D changes, but he is a hard working guy. It will pay dividends, and we know how great Buddy Nix is at picking talent. True...it is wait til next year.
