I think a lot of the fans like him, but its all about who Davison(sp?) wants. If he thinks Crowton screwed Tech, then that all that matters.

Wow!!! I'd actually hate to have him at LaTech. He's not that great of a coach, but he's a great recruiter. I want him away from Louisiana recruits as much as possible. Didn't like him so close to La when he was at Ole Miss, I definently don't want him in Evangile, Bastrop, Ruston and WM's back yard!

This morning Little Rock radio went through this drawn out progression of the Dooley to UT move to get to the point that Conque could end up back at TECH. Who knows. Hopefuly we (TECH) will not make the same mistakes we made for the decade before Dooley got to TECH.

I actually would love to see them hire Don Shows. I think Crowton is more realistic. Those of you saying Crowton wouldn't leave LSU have to remember that he is VERY much on the hot seat there in 2010. If he doesn't perform, he's GONE. Then it would be too late for him to salvage his career.
