Florida will take a proven head coach not a proven DC.

Right. UF isn't going to go for a coordinator. Right now, UF is the third or fourth (UF or U$C) in the NCAA behind Tejass and ND.

UF will go for someone with coaching experience.

Wanna bet that Les Miles isn't even on the long list?

NOBODY ever lists Miles. Despite rumors to the contrary, MI did not even want him in 2007.

...Saban to Florida? ...heck , he could "leverage his interest" to jack up his contract to match Mack Brown's at UT!

Look for UF to offer the job to Bob Stoops first. He may finally want out of Oklahoma.

...but would Florida offer again this time?

Stoops has shown consistency in getting to the top of the Big 12, but not much more than that. He seems to look under-prepared for bowl games too, when the importance of coaching increases due to the added time to prepare for the opponent.

Stoops has lost what...LSU, USC, BOISE STATE, WVA, UF, about 5 BCS games in a row? Most schools would be impressed with his overall record. Where UF is right now, they may not be.

If WM was offered this gig, I think he'd jump on it. Mack Brown could be at UT for 3-5 more years. It is about the only job he would leave for (top 5 job in the country ala Ohio State and USC).

I think that Muschamp would just be another Ron Zook. All rah rah and no real substance or leadership. Just my opinion. Because he has no head coaching experience I'd be totally shocked if Foley went after him. He learned his leasson from Zook.
