If everything ive read recently, and what ive read/heard RS say holds water, LSU should take wind from Bama's sails in the near future from the recruits we're "allegedly" supposed to get that arent currently committed to us, all the noise about the silent commit that we've always had..not to mention a couple of commitments from DEcommitments we may get.. RS has been saying for over a year now that he's trying to help make this the best recruiting class in a long time so he can improve ALL of their chances to win some NCs...what would really suck is if we ALL woke up and Hallman was still our coach!! sorry for the visual

Our hire is on hold. IMHO....some of the candidates like Walker are up for HCs. The agents are having a time juggling the job priorities. Look at Walker. He has a chance to be the first black coach at NMSU under a black AD. Would you rather take your chance as a HC or go to LSU as DC??? The AD, Boston, is said to be very weak and could be in trouble. However, it is hard to fire a black. Or......Is Miles going to remain at LSU? He may only be there for another year. The money will be about the same. What would you choose???

I think Miles will be gone should he have another bust year. The folks do not want to be embarassed. That is the reason for lack of attendence at the bowl game.

How many people showed up to the game that hasn't been played yet?

Mine too. If I had a dollar for every post I have read that has something about a TAF "insider" I would be rich. There must be thousands of these TAF big wigs running around and they sure seem to know alot of information and have some pretty loose lips.

Yours is a close second.

My guy told me he spoke to some dude called The General (supposed to be the next head of TAF).

"The General" is the current head of TAF (and has been for years). Might want to run a check on the rest of your information.

Anyone with any business sense should have known and expected that nothing would have been announced until after the Bowl Game.

It is (has been)the only logical move.

Have any of our two co DCs been CONFIRMED at any other school ?
If I were Les, I would not allow it.
The last thing our team needs is a distraction.

This is not the same team that could handle Pelini going to Nebraska...we do not have the same leadership

I am in Dallas, we are deprived.

..but I definitely would not have allowed the DEFINITE announcement so as to let the players know that NEITHER DC would return.

..there needs to be a little intimidation still, we do not have the self motivating leaders this year.

Which speculated hire would actually do that? Other than hiring Saban's DC away from him, which of our potential candidates could possibly have an impact of that magnitude on Bama?
