I didn’t read your post. Way too long and BK is already here so it doesn’t matter.

Apologies to the OP, we have a bunch of LSU fans who are literally Neanderthals.

Dude seriously we hired him because he is a dick, he is not our ultimate coach but we have to reel some shite in. We have way too many 5 stars coasting and making business decisions. We want stability and one Natty in next 5

Nah, OSU doesn't have any tradition bias in their favor. Plus the Pope won't make a call for them.

Many of your staff members will be at LSU within the 3-4 years. Great coordinators don’t always make great head coaches. I’ll say this once and won’t say it again to you and your fans....The decline is real and has begun. Come back to this board in a year or two, so we can discuss.

Playing down to the competition

LSU has had this disease for at least the last 15 yrs...

The difference in LSU and ND... we have a greater leash to recruit talent that might not make it to ND. We are in the middle of a major talent hotbed in LA, TX, GA, and FL.

What LSU needs is someone to stabilize the program and give it some semblance of identity in scheme.

Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts and not just trashing the coach out of animosity. Honestly, I wouldn't blame you if you did.

These same guys telling you and other ND fans, that they should be grateful to BK instead of feeling betrayed, would be full of resentment and anger if they were on the cusp of the CFP and the HC left. They know they would, they're just high on the new coaching hire and don't wanna hear anything that isn't positive about the new HC.

I've heard all these same concerns from every ND fan I've interacted with since we hired BK and they were the same things I was worried about when we made the hire. He is an unlikable and unpersonable guy, he runs an archaic offensive system, and it is concerning that no assistant coaches or recruits are going to follow him. Honestly, I'm worried about how easy the negative recruiting will be for other SEC coaches. They can just tell LSU prospects that BK may quit on them and the team unexpectedly and he can't really argue the point, because that is exactly what he did this off-season. Add that to his inability to relate to the type of players he will be going after in the south and it's a concern, whether our fans want to admit it yet or not. He really needs a young, talented and likable staff to help mitigate those things(guys like Raymond, Brad Davis, Baker, etc).

But on the flip side, there is alot to like too. I know we will never have a 5-5 or 6-6 season under BK and after these last couple seasons, that's a relief. BK should get the most out of the talent he has on the team and he will fix the culture problem we've had the last two years. That is a certainty.

Overall, I feel like BK was a "safe" hire. He will have LSU in that 9-3 or 10-2 range pretty much every year. After these last few seasons, I know alot of people would happily take that.

Orgeron hired the right coaches to lead the team on offense and defense.

Not even close, man. He didn’t hire Aranda and Joe Alleva was as involved with him staying after Miles was fired as O. Brady was recommended by Ensminger.
