If I was a betting man(which i am) I would put my money on Gruden with Stoops placing second and Kelly third in my trifecta.

Notre Dame is stupid to not wait on Saban or Meyer. If I was ND, I would make them tell me no.

They may have already told them no.

If it's Cowher, it will be another mistake for ND.

Bill Cowher would be an incredible hire and would do great at ND. His personality and his style of teams would be a perfect fit for a place like ND. I think Cowher would do great there. Your talking about one of the better NFL Head coaches in the last 25 years not being a good choice for a college? Please I would love to have Cowher at LSU.

I wonder after that game, if its CUM and the team was kind of distracted?

I was thinking the same thing during the game

You are not the only one. Could you see the "Jaw" on the sidelines of Death Valley? He would come on the rant and whip all the negatigers azzes.

I would love Cowher just b/c he's Cowher he's "the jaw" it would have great “cool” factor. But if I was actually doing a coaching search for LSU I would never hire him any NFL coach that has never been a college coach is a big risk. While its not the only thing the absolutely most important thing in college football is recruiting you have to be able to do it to win consistently.

Example Mack Brown....he's no bill Walsh by a long shot almost cost his team the NCG last night by being a dumb arse....but the numbers he puts up speak for them self.

I would think since they got burned on a nfl guy last time they would not want to go there again, but I’m not too impressed with the AD so who knows.

I would guess:

billick
or
Urban meyer....didn't urban go to the hospital last night...wonder what’s up with that....

Are you still claiming this source? Is there ANY confirmation of this "announcement" anywhere else? No presser set for tomorrow to my knowledge.

Cowher would be a prime choice. Slam dunk IMO. He is a winner, will always be a winner. Still, hearing a lot of Billick buzz.

no, it wouldn't be a BOOM because you didn't give a name. It is futile to say the new coach is a "big name" and not give any detailed information.

Why was Stoops giving quotes to the Tulsa World and not the Daily Oklahoman? I would think he is flying somewhere if he was in Tulsa.
